Cost

Medicare, Medicaid, and many private insurance policies include coverage for home health care and in many cases, services are provided at no cost to the client. Marshall County Home Health is fully certified for reimbursement by Medicare and Medicaid and accepts assignment of benefits.

Under Medicare guidelines:

• Care must be intermittent (part-time), medically necessary and ordered/approved by your physician


• The patient must be essentially homebound--meaning trips away from home must be infrequent or of short duration.


• Because it has been proven that your spiritual well bing is important in your overall health status, Medicare recently approved leaving home for religious services.


• The patient's condition requires a skilled need.
